this man cant currently be stopped. following his releases through the 2nd season 2009 (>marvin” on compost, >smaul 06< & >smaul 07<) in january 2010 acid paulis >riverboat tour< came out. now, it seems he opens this years summer season with these two psychedelic thrilling tracks. even though he had been touring a lot with the notwist last year, acid pauli was pretty often an invited, musically refreshing guest in berlins minimal techno (what ever) scene. den mahlstrom rauf leaves no doubts about. great build up he does by keeping tension over five minutes to unlash finally the madness charge with a levitating reverse-ducking-compressed melody. den mahlstrom runter (a play on words of travelling on a boat and getting milled…) seems to be the return from the trip he gives on side a. it is the same track reworked. his musical drama goes faster but deeper under the cortex – but >how lucky a fate< deliverance comes at right time taking the track over to a known housy and deep realm.

musik gewinnt freunde begrüßt mit der #012 einen neuen künstler auf seinem liebevoll geführten label. adriano filippucci gilt derzeit zwar als geheimtipp ist aber alles andere als ein neuling. mit einem background als pianospieler und jazzmusiker sowie fundierten kompositionskenntnissen ist der junge italiener mehr als vielversprechend. seine city lights ep bestätigt die vorfreude: deep und warm, mit rhythmen die aus der hüfte kommen, hat er hier ein par tranks abgeliefert, deren drive einen einfach nicht loslassen.

the title track (bloody hands) has a unique futuristic sparkle with plenty of funk and loads of interesting effects, characteristic of horrevorts productions. the lead and bassline build up tension throughout the track, subtly climaxing after 5 minutes with some guaranteed hands in the air action!
on the b-side we find >nymph<. this funky deep techey track slots perfectly into those hypnotizing moments of the night. quality production! the b2 is remixed by marc marzenit who captured the subtlety of >bloody hands< perfectly with his monster remix. this monster has a slightly deeper, more progressive flavor than the original yet maintaining its energy. rumor has it that the remix has been signed to secret cinemas first mixed compilation >welcome to my club< (march 2010). one impressive release from two of todays most promising producers!

final daniel wang release on rush hour, incl. 6 tracks not on the recent compilation. the balihu bootleg ep is the final release in the best of balihu series on rush hour. this 6 track ep holds two unreleased tracks (!) and four early works and b-sides. this ep starts with sylver belt which was included on the never released and much in demand balihu 002. not feeling it and east side hustle are early b-side balihu tracks that were not featured on the compilation. side b continues with the instrumental version of if it feels good. this deep, electronic track was taken from the vault of danny and has not been released before. shadows & unhouse are again two early danny tracks that were not on the balihu compilation. and with this limited ep we close off this wonderful project with danny. we hope to see him back one day with new music

for the third nowar release, chicago house producers hakim murphy and inbum cho team up for this beautifully organic trip into deep grooves and lullaby melodies on a steady deep house rhythm. sweet strings, gentle melodic rhodes chords and a bassline that will get you hooked instantly. its an armchair staring-at-the-nightsky house essential!
